Job summary

Flex is seeking an Associate Production Supervisor for our Perai, Penang site to lead multiple production lines in a highly technical environment and manage a team of engineers and operators to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness targets.

You will monitor plant performance, coach staff, drive process improvements and cost-saving projects, and collaborate with maintenance and engineering to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience related to production and manufacturing.
• 6 years of operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team comprising engineers and operators to meet quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness targets.
• Review plant operating performance, identify bottlenecks and advise on changes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and coach staff to improve performance and understanding.
• Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
• Assist in department budget planning and manage department expenses.
• Ensure safe and compliant manufacturing operations and train personnel.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in production/manufacturing
