Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Production Supervisor in Malaysia to optimize day-to-day manufacturing activities and improve efficiency while ensuring high quality and cost control. You will oversee production operations, monitor workforce performance, and drive lean initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or manufacturing with 3–5 years of supervision experience in electronics or server rack assembly, and hands-on knowledge of ERP/MES

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management.
• 3–5 years in a production supervisory role, electronics or server rack assembly.
• Strong understanding of production processes, lean manufacturing principles, and PCBA domain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficient manufacture of products.
• Monitor workforce performance and assign tasks to meet targets.
• Maintain quality standards and safety compliance across operations.
• Collaborate with Quality Control, Engineering, Materials, and Warehousing.
• Track KPIs like output, downtime, yield, and scrap; implement corrective actions.
• Provide training and coaching to production staff.
• Drive 5S, Kaizen, and other lean initiatives.
• Document production reports, attendance, and incident records.
• Participate in audits to support ISO and regulatory compliance.
