Job summary

TechnipFMC Malaysia is seeking an experienced Production Operations Manager to lead end-to-end manufacturing, drive continuous improvement, and optimize throughput while upholding safety and quality standards in Iskandar Puteri.

You will mentor leaders, implement lean practices, analyze KPIs, and coordinate with planning, maintenance, and supply chain to meet targets in a global energy company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8–10 years in manufacturing with at least 3 years in a supervisor/leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily and weekly production activities to meet operational goals.
• Analyze production data and KPIs to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop production team leaders and operators to build a high-performance culture.
• Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and support career development.
• Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for production issues.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
• Coordinate with planning, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Act as a key liaison between production and other departments.
