I10103 GE Engine Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a Powerplant Engineer to lead the Engineering function, ensuring workscoping effectiveness and meeting customer needs. Leads the Powerplant Engineering function that interfaces with other functions to provide coordination of workscoping effectiveness, meeting customer needs on respective engines and responsible for the team's SQDIP metrics using Flightdeck. Functions with some autonomy but guided by established policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost through Flightdeck).
Candidate will have a strong background in powerplant engineering, including expertise in engine/propulsion systems, thermodynamics, and basic engine system operation along with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). The ideal candidate should hold a technical degree in aerospace, mechanical, or related engineering fields, with at least 5 years of experience in powerplant & engine workscoping. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage complex projects is essential.
