Job summary

WARISAN TC HOLDINGS BHD is seeking a PDI / Workshop Manager – Heavy Duty Vehicles in Malaysia. You will oversee end-to-end PDI, ensure vehicles meet manufacturer standards and delivery requirements, and establish SOPs.

You will lead PDI technicians, coordinate with Sales and Logistics, manage vehicle compound, and ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance. A Diploma or Degree in automotive engineering and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in workshop management, PDI, vehicle preparation, after-sales operations, or commercial vehicle operations.
• Experience managing commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, or heavy vehicles is advantageous.
• Proven experience in leading technicians, inspectors, and operational support teams.
• Strong understanding of vehicle inspection, diagnostics, repair, quality assurance, and vehicle preparation processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end PDI for commercial vehicles and ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead and coach PDI technicians, inspectors, and support staff.
• Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, Warehouse, and Service teams for timely readiness and delivery.
• Maintain inspection records, technical reports, warranty documentation, and vehicle readiness status.
• Monitor KPIs on quality, productivity, rework, and delivery performance.
