Job summary

EPOMS Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Offshore Installation Manager to lead direct offshore operations, manage EPCIC execution, and sustain safe, compliant production.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong HSSE governance, and the ability to coordinate with shipyards, clients, and onshore teams. You will ensure a seamless handover from construction to operations, drive risk management, and maintain asset integrity while leading a multicultural offshore team.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in offshore Oil & Gas O&M with 5+ years in an OIM or senior offshore leadership role.
• Proven EPCIC project execution experience—pre-operations readiness, sailaway, mooring, hook-up, commissioning, start-up, handover.
• Experience working with EPCIC contractors/shipyards and handing over facilities to international operators.
• Strong HSSE, Permit‑to‑Work and Process Safety Management knowledge.
• Ability to lead multicultural offshore teams and communicate in English.
• Willing and medically fit to be based offshore and travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Direct overall offshore installation operations as OIM with full authority to ensure safe, compliant, and continuous production.
• Lead EPCIC project execution from pre-ops to handover to operations, coordinating with contractors and client teams.
• Champion HSSE leadership, permit-to-work, risk management, and emergency response systems.
• Manage offshore emergency response and liaise with onshore support to safeguard personnel and asset.
• Oversee production, maintenance, and asset integrity through structured planning and monitoring.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with flag state, classification society, and authorities and maintain certifications.
• Build offshore workforce capability through manpower planning, competency assurance, and performance management.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relations as the primary offshore point of contact.
• Control installation operating costs by monitoring OPEX and contractor performance against budgets.
• Drive asset integrity and maintenance programs to sustain reliability.
• Coordinate offshore logistics including vessel movements and helicopter operations.
