Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Process to design and optimize production processes in our Kulim site. You will develop tooling and software for complex machines and processes, and lead capability assessments using Design of Experiments and statistical methods to maximize throughput and minimize cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related experience in manufacturing/process engineering.
• Experience designing and optimizing manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes.
• Develop application software and tooling for machines and process steps.
• Lead assessment of machine and process capability using DOE and statistics.
• Lead solving of complex process/product issues affecting manufacturing.
• Initiate feedback to product designers on manufacturability.
