Job summary

GE Aerospace Malaysia (GEESM) is seeking an experienced HR professional to act as the HR Manager of record for a client group, providing leadership, coaching and HR process expertise across organizational matters. The role requires deep understanding of business drivers and the ability to connect HR activities with company goals.

Ideal candidate will have 6+ years in HR, strong communication skills, and experience developing and implementing HR policies.

GE Aerospace Engine Services Malaysia (GEESM) in Subang is a key part of our global maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) network, supporting the service of commercialaircraftengines, components, and accessories with world-class technicalexpertise. Established in 1997 as a Center of Excellence for CFM56 engines, the site has continued to grow, including becoming GE Aerospace’s first LEAP MRO facility outside the U.S. We are also expanding our footprint in Malaysia with a new LEAP engine MRO facility in Sepang! Expected to open in late 2026, adding advanced capabilities, new technology, and opportunities to support the next generation of aviation maintenance.

Role Overview:

• A first point of contact for employees & managers who provides leadership, coaching and support for individual employee needs & HR processes.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired expertise to execute functional policy/strategy.
• A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered. Provides informal guidance to new team members. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
• Impacts projects, processes and procedures in own field. The role operates with some autonomy, but is focused on execution of activities/provision of advice within an enabling discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Activities require professional judgment, but may require more senior levels of guidance.
• Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

Ideal Candidate:

• The ideal candidate is someone who can provides HR support to the client group Business Leaders and Employees on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise and other general HR activities.

Required Qualifications:

• This role requires at least 6 years of experience experience in the Human Resources & Employee Human Resource Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
