Job summary

CAPEFRONT Energies is seeking an experienced Project Manager - FPSO Conversion to lead a major FPSO conversion project in Malaysia. The role requires managing offshore engineering, procurement, construction, conversion, integration and commissioning with a track record across multiple FPSO projects.

The candidate should have ideally two FPSO conversions end-to-end, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to work on-site at the designated project execution site in Malaysia for 2-3 years.

Qualifications

• Five FPSO projects experience
• Two FPSO conversions end-to-end preferred
• Engineering degree in a technical discipline
• Familiarity with shipyard/offshore EPC environments
• Strong planning, budgeting and risk management capabilities

Responsibilities

• Lead FPSO conversion activities from engineering through handover
• Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, module integration, commissioning and testing
• Develop and monitor execution plans, schedules, milestones, and cost forecasts
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, shipyards, suppliers and subcontractors
• Oversee procurement activities, contract deliverables and variations
• Act as main liaison with clients, contractors and stakeholders
• Monitor progress, risks and performance indicators and report to management
• Drive HSE, quality assurance and compliance across the project lifecycle
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance throughout the project
