Celestica is hiring a Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment in Kulim, Malaysia. You will lead development and implementation of automation solutions for customer manufacturing equipment, while coordinating with solution providers and internal teams.

You will own hardware and software improvements, oversee FAT/SAT, drive maintenance planning and OEE improvements across multiple machines, and support product roadmaps using Celestica's E2E processes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders and external solution providers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development, procurement and implementation of automation solutions for manufacturing equipment.
• Plan and lead hardware and software improvements of automated lines using OEE and data analysis.
• Lead equipment validation activities such as FAT and SAT.
• Develop maintenance plans and drive performance/OEE improvements for multiple machines.
• Support product road maps using Celestica E2E processes and PM workbooks.
• Drive corrective actions for equipment failures and quality issues.
• Coordinate with Process Engineering to ensure equipment meets manufacturing requirements.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Lead the development, procurement and implementation off the shelf standard solutions and/or develop new standard automation solutions to support customer product manufacturing equipment needs
• Plan and lead the hardware and software improvements of automated lines and off the shelf equipment, via the analysis of Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and other available data. Own the communications with multiple stakeholders including solution providers for design, technical information and specifications.
• Lead and solve complex technical problems and lead the equipment validation activities such as Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
• Develop maintenance plans and oversee and/or execute activities to achieve target performance. Be accountable for the performance, maintenance, and OEE improvements for multiple machines within a value stream.
• Support customer product road map using Celestica Automation E2E process and tools such as User Requirement Specifications (URS) and Design for Automation Assembly (DFAA) and PM workbook.
• Drive problem solving and corrective actions related to causes of machine failures, speed loss or quality issues.
• Work with Process Engineering to ensure equipment is statistically capable of meeting the product manufacturing requirements.
