Job description

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development in meeting vehicle targets, regulations, manufacturing, aftermarket service and market requirements.
• Lead the adoption and development of engineering specifications related to engine integration design.
• Research, strategize and lead the implementation of technology.
• Support Procurement and Quality departments in assessing potential suppliers through technical assessments and plant audits.
• Advise team and other functional heads to understand all necessary aspects and needs of product, manufacturing, and quality.
• Cost Management
• Lead the management of BOM and component and system design changes or new development to meet technical requirements and within target cost.
• Lead the continuous VAVE efforts through design-to-cost, benchmarking and assessment of potential competitive suppliers.
• Quality Management
• Become a key member of APQP team in quality management for new projects.
• Lead improvements based on feedback from the market, production assembly and aftermarket service.
• Lead and develop SOP and engineering specifications and manage ISO related documentations.
• Project Management
• Manage the implementation of components and systems for new projects.
• Manage, build rapport, and ensure all design and development aspects with internal and external were communicated, delivered, and resolved.
