Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Lead Engineer in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia to oversee the coordination of electrical, mechanical, and controls engineering teams. You will ensure the delivery of comprehensive drawings and documentation for production while fostering a culture of precision and safety within the team.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 5-7 years of relevant experience in factory operations or electrical assemblies, with proven leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a lead engineer role, factory operations, or manufacturing.
• Experience managing prefabricated modules or data center equipment.
• Fluency in English with strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering teams for accurate drawing packages.
• Review and validate system documentation for alignment with specifications.
• Prepare commissioning documentation including testing procedures.
• Identify and resolve technical clashes during project execution.
