Job summary

VAT Vakuumventile AG in Batu Kawan, Malaysia, invites a Team Leader Test Process Engineering to oversee an engineering team responsible for development and release of end-of-line testing for NPI products. This is a permanent staff role.

You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with global HQ to ensure robust processes and sustain first-pass yield, train production staff on test systems, and drive continuous improvements in quality, safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering as specified.
• Minimum 8 years in mechanical assembly / process development / leak testing.
• Knowledge of vacuum technology and related systems.
• Automation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to implement end-of-line test processes for NPI products.
• Oversee development, implementation, and release of robust end-of-line test processes.
• Coach supervisors and assemblers on test systems, equipment, and processes.
• Collaborate with global HQ to ensure robust processes and sustain FPY in series production.
• Drive continuous improvement of assembly-line quality, safety, and productivity.
• Perform FMEA and define preventive and detective controls.
