Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD is seeking a Lead Electronics for Automated Test Systems to guide cross-functional teams developing advanced PCB test and calibration equipment for electronic and energy storage tech. You will coordinate hardware, software, power electronics and mechanics to deliver robust test solutions for PEC’s manufacturing and service teams.

The role reports to the global lead Electronics coordinator and the SE Asia COO.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or Automation.
5+ years’ experience in automated test development for electronics or high-volume environments.
Experience with automation software (Python, C#, .NET).

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary Electronics teams to define and deliver automated test/calibration systems.
Act as the system integrator across R&D, project management, manufacturing and customer-facing teams.
Own architecture, design and verification of automated test platforms for electronic assemblies and battery-related systems.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards.
Embed DFT principles into test platform roadmap and lead root-cause analysis for improvements.
Manage local outsourcing and transfer of test systems to PEC manufacturing sites and service teams.
Provide technical documentation, training and support to partners and production teams.
Monitor performance of deployed test stations and coordinate upgrades.
