Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD in Butterworth, Penang, seeks a Lead Electronics for Automated Test Systems to guide cross‑functional teams developing advanced test solutions for electronic and energy storage technologies.

You will own architecture and verification of test platforms, coordinate with R&D, manufacturing and service teams globally, and ensure quality, safety and performance standards while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or Automation.
• Strong technical understanding of Power electronics, measurement systems, control systems.
• 5+ years’ experience in automated test development for electronics, ideally in high complexity or high volume environments.
• Experience with automation software (e.g., Python, C#, .NET).

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary Electronics teams to define and deliver automated test/calibration systems aligned with PEC’s needs.
• Act as system integrator across R&D, project management, manufacturing and customer-facing teams.
• Own architecture, design and verification of automated test platforms for electronic assemblies and battery-related systems.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards.
