Job summary

AIXTRON Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Batu Kawan, Penang, invites junior and senior Electrical & Software Engineers to join a growing manufacturing and engineering hub.

You will own electrical system architecture and power distribution for advanced semiconductor equipment, from high-level design to detailed implementation. Collaborate with manufacturing, service, supply chain and global development teams to ensure integration, reliability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–10 years of professional experience in electrical system design.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution and control architecture.
• Experience with PLC architecture and automation topology.
• Proficiency in E-Plan; PLM understanding.
• Able to work across modules with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize main and low voltage power distribution systems.
• Define system architecture and technical requirements for electrical and control systems.
• Select and integrate sensors, actuators and motion components.
• Support vacuum, thermal and process subsystems from electrical perspective.
• Lead modules, coordinate contributors and mentor engineers.
• Perform data analysis to support decision-making and maintain config consistency.
