Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced civil/industrial engineer for a contract role in Malaysia's Kedah region (Kulim). The position focuses on semiconductor facility design and construction, enforcing standards, safety, and compliance while driving effective project delivery across design and construction teams.

Candidates should have extensive experience with tool installation, process chemical systems, and strong coordination with multi-disciplinary stakeholders to ensure quality,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of semiconductor facility design and construction experience, including tool installation.
• Experience in process chemical systems preferred (pure water, wastewater, bulk chemicals, and gases).
• Strong knowledge of design management, construction support, and compliance requirements.
• Proven stakeholder coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction contracts, design scope changes, submittals, and construction support.
• Lead design reviews and provide engineering, constructability, and compliance feedback.
• Coordinate with design, construction, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support incident investigations and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Manage infrastructure databases, drawings, and engineering records.
• Perform capacity vs. demand gap analysis and prepare scope recommendations.
• Prepare and present weekly project reports.
