Job summary

iZeno, part of Logicalis Asia Pacific, seeks a Lead Data Engineer to design and deliver enterprise data platforms, providing technical leadership to project teams and clients. This hands-on role shapes data architecture, mentors engineers, and works with stakeholders to deliver scalable, cloud-based data solutions.

You will guide teams through data modelling, governance, and best practices across the SDLC while collaborating with clients on strategic implementation roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma in CS/IT required.
• 7-8 years in Data Engineering/Analytics; leading teams or projects preferred.
• Strong data modelling knowledge: Kimball, Star Schema, Snowflake, Data Vault, 3NF.
• Hands-on with enterprise-scale data solutions; solid ETL/ELT understanding.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; Java/Scala a plus.
• Experience with Snowflake or cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix; Docker and Kubernetes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise data platforms.
• Mentor Data Engineers; ensure code quality and best practices.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Oversee SDLC delivery, manage resources, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
• Promote data governance, data quality, and data modelling standards across projects.
