Job summary

ams OSRAM Malaysia invites a skilled Data Engineer to work with global teams on cloud data warehouse solutions. You will implement scalable data pipelines, apply SQL/Python transformations, and ensure data security while collaborating with data scientists and analysts.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud data warehousing, hands-on with Snowflake/Databricks, data vault 2.0 or star schema, and strong SQL/ETL expertise. English communication with international stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of related working experience with cloud data warehouse technologies.
• Hands-on experience in data warehouse modelling (Data Vault 2.0 and/or Star Schema).
• Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL) and ETL frameworks.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI and data integration using modern ETL tools.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with data scientists and analysts to translate data requirements into technical specs.
• Design and implement cloud-based data solutions aligned with business needs.
• Develop scalable data pipelines from multiple source systems.
• Apply business rules and transformations using SQL or Python.
• Ensure data security with object and row level access controls.
