iZeno is seeking an experienced Cloud Operations engineer to lead a team of L2 engineers and deliver end-to-end cloud support across AWS, GCP, and virtualization platforms. You will mentor junior engineers, manage incidents, and collaborate with customers to provide effective solutions.

With 5+ years in cloud operations, you will handle L2/L3 support, drive improvements, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure reliable service delivery. This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Competenze

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Cloud Operations, Infrastructure Support, or Systems Engineering.
• Hands-on production experience with AWS and/or GCP.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting and health checks.
• Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with Kubernetes/container environments is a plus.
• Experience handling incidents, problems, changes and service requests in production.
• Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Some experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Cloud certifications (AWS or Google Cloud) are advantageous.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Engineering.

• Lead and provide technical guidance to a team of L2 Cloud Engineers.
• Provide L2/L3 support across cloud, infrastructure and container environments.
• Manage incidents, service requests, problems and changes through to resolution.
• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, Linux, networking, virtualization and container-related issues.
• Support and maintain environments across AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Monitor cloud infrastructure, investigate alerts and proactively identify operational issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and support the resolution of major incidents and service outages.
• Work directly with customers to understand technical issues, provide updates and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support cloud infrastructure deployment, configuration and operational improvement activities.
• Guide junior engineers on troubleshooting, escalation and operational best practices.
• Participate in an on-call/standby rotation when required.
