Job summary

Tap Growth ai is seeking an experienced Cleanroom Finishing / Architectural Engineer to lead on-site execution of cleanroom interior fit-out projects in Shah Alam, Malaysia. You will oversee coordination across architectural, structural, HVAC, MEP and BMS disciplines, ensuring airtight, ESD-compliant and high-quality finishes.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in a relevant field and at least 3 years of hands-on cleanroom experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM.

Qualifications

Diploma or above in Civil Engineering, Architectural Decoration, MEP Engineering, Cleanroom Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in complete cleanroom fit-out projects, particularly in semiconductor or new energy manufacturing facilities.
Strong technical knowledge of cleanroom partition, ceiling and flooring systems.
Familiar with airtight, dust-free and ESD construction standards.
Good knowledge of ISO 14644 cleanroom standards.
Proficient in AutoCAD; BIM skills will be an added advantage.
Proficient in technical drawing interpretation, technical briefings, quality and schedule control, and subcontractor management.
Detail-oriented and proactive, with strong execution, communication and coordination skills.
Excellent command in spoken and written Mandarin.

Responsibilities

Lead coordination, technical briefing, on-site supervision, inspection and acceptance of cleanroom interior fit-out works throughout the construction process.
Ensure cleanroom envelope systems meet cleanliness, airtightness, ESD protection and process functionality requirements.
Monitor progress and ensure works meet approved technical requirements, quality standards and schedules.
Provide technical guidance and independently resolve construction and technical issues on site.
Supervise installation of cleanroom panels, ceiling tee systems, secondary steel structures, clean doors and windows; ensure airtight sealing and proper detailing.
Monitor workmanship and inspect for flatness, verticality and finishing quality; coordinate rectification work.
Oversee installation, process control, quality inspection and acceptance of seamless epoxy, PVC and anti-static raised access flooring; ensure compliance with cleanroom and ESD standards.
Coordinate with architectural, structural, HVAC, MEP and BMS teams; manage interfaces and subcontractor execution.
Monitor schedules, control material quality and site safety; coordinate inspections, testing and commissioning; prepare as-built drawings and completion documentation.
