Job summary

NCT Group of Companies is seeking a qualified Construction Supervisor to oversee architectural, civil, and building works in line with contracts, drawings, and procedures in Malaysia. The role requires hands-on site supervision, QA/QC, daily progress reporting, attending site and technical meetings, and ensuring compliance with local authority requirements and project standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Architectural, Civil or Building discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervising architectural works in construction projects.
• Able to converse and write proficiently in English and Bahasa Melayu.
• Experience in QA/QC of General light & Medium industry development.
• Knowledge of CONQUAS and Q-LASSIC criteria is an added advantage.
• Able to use AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel & Project Management Program.
• Ability to read construction drawings to carry out inspections.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction works in accordance with contracts, drawings, procedures and method statements.
• Inspect and monitor each stage of construction works (piling, structural, architectural, external and infrastructure).
• Prepare and update daily progress reports; attend site and technical meetings.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and project standards.
• Conduct QA/QC and regular inspections; ensure good workmanship.
• Identify outstanding works and mitigation solutions.
• Verify materials meet contract specifications and assist on site valuations of progress claims.
• Document testing on site materials and systems; maintain daily work records.
