Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years backend development experience.
• Minimum 3 years Go development.
• Minimum 2 years leading engineering teams.
• Experience building production financial systems.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure.
• Experience supporting production environments.

Responsibilities

• Co-write the Go backend with the Senior Go Engineer; take the hardest systems yourself.
• Set architecture and engineering standards; review and merge every PR.
• Lead sprint planning; manage delivery risk against the 8–9 week timeline.
• Own AWS infra and IaC (Terraform); own the security/compliance posture.
