Job summary

AIA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking a capable Business Analyst for AIA Digital+. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will capture and translate business requirements, liaise with clients and developers, and ensure the delivery of functional specifications in an insurance tech environment.

Candidates should hold a bachelor degree in IT, have at least 6 years in IT, 4+ years as BA, strong stakeholder communication, and familiarity with agile methods. Experience with insurance domains and Java/DB is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT-related disciplines.
• Minimum 6 years in progressive IT sector.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a business analyst.
• Ability to analyze, interpret and communicate business information to stakeholders.
• Ability to build strong client and team relationships.
• Familiarity with requirements development and change management.
• Nice to have Agile or other SDLC experience.
• Insurance industry experience is a plus.
• DB and Java development experience are a plus.

• Capture, document and structure use cases.
• Analyze and develop functional specification documents.
• Identify business goals and provide solutions to clients.
• Identify assumptions, constraints, issues and risks.
• Act as translator between users and developers.
• Perform system testing and support user acceptance testing.

Job Requirement:
