Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a responsible, proactive educator to join our team in a teaching + centre operations role for children across Mandarin, English and Bahasa Melayu.

Candidates with SPM minimum and a Grade B or above in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Melayu are welcome; Diploma or Degree holders preferred. Training will be provided and a supportive, flexible work environment awaits.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Student Development

• Conduct lessons for children across our Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu programmes.
• Monitor and record students’ learning progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Adapt teaching approaches according to students’ individual learning needs and abilities.
• Create a supportive, patient, and engaging learning environment that encourages participation and growth.
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ learning progress and classroom matters.

Centre Administration & Operations

• Build and maintain positive relationships with parents by handling enquiries, feedback, and concerns.
• Monitor student progress and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching quality, learning materials, and lesson planning.
• Work closely with teachers and management to resolve classroom and operational matters.
• Support centre initiatives including marketing activities, social media management, student activities, and event coordination.
• Ensure the centre’s facilities, learning resources, cleanliness, safety, and overall learning environment are properly maintained and organised.
• Perform administrative and operational duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the centre.
• Carry out other reasonable responsibilities assigned by management.
