Job summary

LANDART Group is seeking an experienced Landscape Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Malaysia. This full-time role covers managing and coordinating landscape architecture projects from initial planning and design through to tender, construction and successful completion.

You will ensure projects meet design excellence, quality, functionality and client satisfaction while effectively managing timelines, resources and coordination with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of landscape project management experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and environmental considerations related to landscape design.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage landscape architecture projects from inception, design development to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors and stakeholders for smooth implementation.
  • Prepare, review and coordinate landscape design proposals, drawings, specs, tender and construction docs.
  • Liaise with local authorities and consultants on requirements, submissions and approvals.
  • Conduct site assessments, inspections and meetings to monitor progress and coordinate actions.
  • Review contractors' work for compliance with drawings, specs and design intent.
  • Manage project risks, issues, variations and changes; provide timely recommendations to minimise delays and costs.
  • Prepare and maintain project reports, minutes, progress updates and documentation.
  • Manage client communications and relationships, providing regular updates and addressing requirements.

LANDART Group is seeking an experienced Landscape Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position offering an opportunity to manage and coordinate landscape architecture projects from initial planning and design development through to tender, construction and successful project completion.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of design excellence, quality, functionality and client satisfaction, while effectively managing project timelines, resources and, coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage landscape architecture projects from project inception, design development, authority submission, tender and construction through to project completion.

Coordinate with clients, architects, relevant consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.

Prepare, review and coordinate landscape design proposals, technical drawings, specifications, tender and construction documentation.

Liaise with relevant local authorities and consultants on project requirements, submissions, approvals and compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.

Conduct site assessments, site inspections and project meetings to monitor work progress, identify issues and coordinate necessary actions.

Review contractors' work and construction quality to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, design intent and project requirements.

Manage project risks, issues, variations and changes, and provide timely recommendations and solutions to minimise delays and cost implications.

Prepare and maintain project reports, meeting minutes, progress updates and other relevant project documentation.

Manage client communications and relationships, providing regular updates and ensuring project requirements and expectations are properly addressed.

Keep updated with Malaysian planning requirements, local authority guidelines, landscape standards, sustainable design practices and industry developments.

What we're looking for

A bachelor's or master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape project management, preferably within a consultancy or design firm

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality projects

Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and environmental considerations related to landscape design
