Job summary

Kerry Malaysia is seeking a Laboratory Executive for Oils & Fats, Ester and Emulsifiers to manage the main laboratories and support quality systems. You will collaborate with suppliers on incoming material quality and conduct measurements on in-process and finished product samples.

Reporting to the Laboratory Assistant Manager, you will maintain calibration, monitor analytics, set up inspection parameters in SAP, and help uphold HACCP and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, HACCP, GMP and SHE advantageous.
• Preferably 1 year in a QC laboratory in chemical/food emulsifier industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory functions including equipment calibration, troubleshooting and verification.
• Monitor analytical results for incoming materials and in-process products.
• Set up inspection parameters and quality plans in SAP for new products.
• Monitor product stability and shelf-life extension.
• Contribute to HACCP and GMP management systems.
