Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a lab maintenance assistant to support day-to-day cleaning and care of scientific equipment in an educational environment.

The role requires PMR/SPM qualifications, 3+ years of relevant experience preferred, and the ability to communicate with students and staff in a courteous, professional manner. English proficiency and good time management are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• PMR or SPM minimum academic qualification.
• Preferably at least 3 years relevant experience in education.
• Ability to communicate with students and staff courteously and professionally.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Good command of English; solid planning and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Keeps assigned areas clean, sanitary and aseptic.
• Dusting and wiping lab equipment, tables/workbenches, models and trolleys using rags.
• Scrubs shelves, racks, tables, work benches and sinks using cleaning solutions and brushes.
• Washing, rinsing, drying lab glassware and utensils.
• Rearranging of glassware and utensils at the designated cabinet/place after drying.
• Checking and refilling of soap dispenser, detergent/wash bottles and distilled water containers.
• To assist and perform other duties as and when required.

Key responsibilities

Keeps assigned areas clean, sanitary and aseptic

Requirements that we need
