Job summary

EcoCeres in Malaysia is seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to support daily lab operations, sample preparation, QC checks, and inventory management. You will work with GC and ICP instruments, use LIMS and ERP systems, and contribute to safety and quality compliance.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in science or related field.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory instruments such as GC and ICP spectrometry.
• Familiarity with LIMS and data handling tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sample preparation and routine analyses with basic QC checks.
• Perform laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and environmental samples.
• Prepare reagents and standard solutions according to defined procedures.
• Support issuing Certificates of Quality (CoQ) through the ERP system.
• Maintain accurate chemical inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Support equipment operation, calibration, and preventive maintenance.
• Follow ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 17025 quality standards.
