Job summary

VAT Vakuumventile AG is a leading international developer and manufacturer of high-performance vacuum valves and sealing technology. Its headquarters are in Haag, Switzerland, with production centers in Switzerland, Malaysia, Romania and Taiwan.

The Lab Engineer will manage test equipment setup, troubleshooting, and technical analysis while coordinating with Switzerland-based teams to meet test goals and department KPIs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics with CGPA ≥3.20.
Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics with at least 3 years in semiconductor industries.

Responsibilities

Execute Test Orders for product qualification with hardware setup and analysis.
Lead test lab projects, develop test methods, and pursue cost-saving activities.
Troubleshoot product and test setups; provide technical advice from analysis.
Support internal teams: Design/Development, Product/Project Managers, Quality.
Deliver test updates to stakeholders.
Collaborate between Malaysia and Switzerland Test Labs.
Train and mentor new employees with technical guides.
Track system health and update as needed.
Perform other tasks as directed by management.
