Job summary

6255 UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks an experienced IT professional to lead end-to-end software development and production support for Group projects. You will manage transitions, ensure quality, and collaborate with the Group domain team to prioritise work.

Required are a degree in Computer Science/Engineering and at least 6 years of banking IT experience, with proficiency in IBM AS400, RPG, COBOL and CL programming.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar domain.
• At least 6 years’ experience in relevant Banking applications / IT.
• Proficient in IBM AS400, RPG, COBOL, CL programming.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software development and support for group- transitioned applications.
• Ensure quality assurance and adherence to bank-defined software delivery methodology.
• Manage incidents, problems and knowledge management.
• Collaborate with Group domain team to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.
• Provide guidance to junior developers and oversee small team.
• Coordinate with production support for root cause analysis and improvements.
• Drive improvement initiatives across methods, tools, architecture and governance.
