Job summary

Bybit Limited is seeking a Senior SRE/DevOps engineer to ensure the stability and performance of its global infrastructure from the KL office. Qualifications

• 3+ years of SRE/DevOps experience with large-scale distributed systems.
• Linux internals, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Container technologies: Docker and Kubernetes with production-level K8s management.
• Monitoring & alerting: Prometheus / Grafana / ELK; design monitoring metrics and alerting strategies.
• CI/CD: GitLab CI / Jenkins / ArgoCD with automated deployment experience.
• Programming: Python / Go / Java / Node.js (Python or Go preferred).
• End-to-end feature delivery: requirements analysis → design → coding → testing → deployment.
• RESTful API design and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Shell/Python scripting for day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of the core infrastructure across AWS and Tencent Cloud; production SLAs.
• Maintain service mesh governance in Kubernetes + Envoy/Istio; drive gateway standards.
• Define and implement SLO/SLI/Error Budget frameworks to improve reliability.
• Identify bottlenecks; drive architectural improvements.
• Develop operations automation tools: capacity assessment, auto-scaling, self-healing, and change automation.
• Build SRE platforms: capacity management, cost analysis, health dashboards; iterate with the team.
• API integration with monitoring systems, cloud platforms, and Kubernetes APIs.
• Chaos Engineering: design and implement fault-tolerance validation.
• IaC & CI/CD: Terraform / Helm / GitOps; optimize release safety.
• Capacity planning & performance optimization; scaling plans for promotions/high-traffic events.
• Build cost-efficiency metrics; track per-unit costs.
