Job summary

WYK CATERING & CANOPY SERVICES SDN. BHD. is seeking a kitchen assistant to support daily food preparation and service at our Kuala Lumpur operation. The role involves washing, cutting, peeling and portioning ingredients, helping cooks during production, and packing food for delivery and events.

You will maintain clean work areas, handle FIFO storage, follow halal, food safety and hygiene procedures, and assist with other kitchen tasks. Weekend and public holiday work is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ingredient preparation: washing, cutting, peeling and portioning
• Support cooks during food production and cooking
• Pack and arrange food for delivery and events
• Wash and maintain kitchen utensils, equipment and work areas
• Receive and store incoming ingredients; follow FIFO stock rotation
• Follow Halal, food safety and hygiene procedures at all times
• Assist with other kitchen operation work as assigned
• Able to work during weekends and public holidays
