Job summary

Bina Jaya Ventures Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a caring, patient Teaching Assistant for after-school care and kindergarten support. You will help with homework, supervise students, and assist teachers in preparing learning materials in a bilingual environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM qualification; STPM, Diploma or Bachelor's Degree encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates welcome; comprehensive training provided.
• Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin.
• Basic English and/or Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage.
• Basic computer literacy with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Guide and supervise students with daily homework using prepared materials.
• Check homework and help correct mistakes to build good study habits.
• Assist revision activities such as dictation, spelling and memorisation.
• Provide individual guidance to students needing extra support.
• Assist with organising school bags and learning materials.
• Prepare teaching materials and classroom resources when required.
• Maintain a positive, orderly learning environment to motivate participation.
• Observe progress and report needs to teachers or management.
• Welcome students and ensure safety and care throughout centre hours.
• Assist in basic classroom cleaning tasks when staff are unavailable.
