Job summary

MAKE SENSE is seeking a Sales/Key Account professional in Kuala Lumpur to manage core beauty retail channels, including Watsons and Guardian. The role drives product listings, promotions, and in-store execution while collaborating with Marketing and Supply Chain for launches.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in Beauty/FMCG sales, deep knowledge of Malaysia’s modern beauty landscape, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. English fluency is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 3-5 years of Sales/Key Account management experience in Beauty, Personal Care or FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of the Malaysia modern beauty retail landscape, especially Watsons, Guardian, and similar Health & Beauty retailers.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; strong willingness to learn and resilience under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Core Channel Management: manage relationships with key beauty retail channels such as Watsons, Guardian, CARiNG Pharmacy, and other strategic customers.
• Drive sales targets, product listings, promotions, sell-in/sell-out performance, and in-store execution.
• Negotiation & Execution: assist senior management in negotiating annual contracts, formulating pricing strategies, and implementing promotional plans.
• Operations & cross-functional collaboration: forecast sales, manage inventory, and coordinate with Marketing and Supply Chain on launches.
• Agility & growth: adapt to a fast-paced environment, accept guidance, and quickly adjust strategies to market changes.
