Job summary

Dmk Hospitality Sdn Bhd is seeking a junior video editor to grow with our team, taking ownership of shooting and first-pass edits. You’ll be mentored by our Senior Editor from day one, and you’ll work on shoots at outlets and events, producing social content and supporting larger campaigns.

Fresh graduates welcome; showreel is required. Proficiency in Premiere Pro is essential, and basic lighting and audio skills are preferred. Willingness to work weekends when shoots require it.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Film/Multimedia/Digital Media/Mass Communication.
• 0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Proficient with Premiere Pro; After Effects and Photoshop are a bonus.
• Comfortable operating a mirrorless camera and basic lighting.
• Showreel or portfolio link mandatory.
• Willing to work outside office hours.

Responsibilities

• Shoot video on location at outlets and events.
• Assist with lighting, audio and setup on shoots.
• Ingest, organize, label and archive footage.
• Cut first drafts and rough edits for review.
• Produce social cuts for Instagram Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
• Add subtitles and basic motion graphics.
• Support Senior Editor on larger campaigns.
• Keep up with social trends and bring ideas.
