Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Junior UI/UX Designer to support the improvement of our SaaS platforms. You will design responsive web and mobile interfaces, translate requirements into wireframes and prototypes, and collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure clean, user-friendly interfaces across our products.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in UI/UX or a strong portfolio, a solid understanding of layout, typography, color, and usability, and proficiency with tools like

We are looking for a Junior UI/UX Designer to join our team and support the improvement of our SaaS platforms. Our team moves fast, builds quickly, and constantly turns new ideas into working software. Because of that speed, some of our products are highly functional but still have room for improvement in terms of visual polish, usability, and overall user experience. This role is ideal for someone who has a good design foundation, is eager to learn, and wants hands‑on experience working on real SaaS products. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to help create cleaner, more user‑friendly, and visually consistent interfaces across our platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing responsive and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile platforms
• Support the improvement of existing SaaS products by enhancing layouts, visual consistency, and usability
• Translate product requirements and ideas into wireframes, mockups, and simple prototypes
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and team members to implement design solutions
• Help maintain consistency in design elements, components, and brand styling across products
• Contribute to landing page and product interface designs
• Participate in brainstorming and design discussions with the team
• Revise and iterate on designs based on feedback from internal stakeholders
• Prepare design assets and handoff files for development
• Learn and apply UI/UX best practices throughout the product design process

About you

• 1–2 years of experience in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or a related field (fresh graduates with a strong portfolio may also be considered)
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, layout, typography, colour, and usability
• A portfolio that shows design thinking, interface design work, academic projects, freelance work, or personal projects
• Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and simple prototypes
• Willingness to learn and improve in a fast‑paced working environment
• Ability to take feedback positively and iterate on designs
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Penpot, or similar
• Nice to have: Internship or project experience in SaaS, web platforms, or mobile apps
• Nice to have: Experience designing landing pages, dashboards, or admin panels
• Nice to have: Familiarity with design systems or reusable component libraries
