Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a UI/UX/Product Design fresh graduate to design user-friendly interfaces for websites and mobile apps. You’ll create wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity designs in Figma, conduct usability research, and translate product needs into actionable UI/UX solutions.

You will collaborate with developers and marketing to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and design systems, while staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in UI/UX, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia, CS, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 0–2 years of experience in UI/UX, product design, or related field.
• Proficient in Figma or other UI/UX design tools.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, user-centred design, typography, colour, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Familiarity with wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
• Good understanding of responsive web and mobile design.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and a good eye for visual design.
• Creative, curious, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to receive feedback and continuously improve designs.
• A portfolio or examples of UI/UX design projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for websites, web applications, and mobile platforms.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma or other design tools.
• Assist in conducting user research, competitor research, and usability analysis to understand user needs.
• Translate business and product requirements into clear and effective UI/UX solutions.
• Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
• Maintain consistency across products by following design systems, UI components, and brand guidelines.
• Participate in design discussions, brainstorming sessions, and product improvement initiatives.
• Collect feedback from users and internal teams and make necessary design improvements.
• Review existing interfaces and identify opportunities to improve usability, functionality, and visual presentation.
• Prepare design assets and specifications for development.
• Keep up with the latest UI/UX trends, design principles, and digital product best practices.
• Support other design-related tasks and projects when required.
