Job summary

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented junior tax assistant to support basic data entries and tax computations for individuals and companies. This role operates under supervision and involves compiling documents for submissions while tracking filing deadlines.

You will liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and assist seniors with correspondence to LHDN, helping maintain internal trackers and ensure timely, accurate tax tasks.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcome; internship experience in tax is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Malaysian tax framework.
• Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic data entries and tax computations for individuals and companies under supervision.
• Assist in compiling supporting documents for tax submissions.
• Follow up with clients for outstanding tax-related documents.
• Keep track of filing deadlines and update internal trackers.
• Assist seniors with correspondence to LHDN (Inland Revenue Board).
