Job summary

PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is recruiting a Tax Associate Executive (Fresh Graduate) in Kuala Lumpur. The role targets candidates with 1–2 years of tax exposure and offers exposure to global tax compliance, corporate tax, indirect tax and tax provisions within a fast-paced multinational environment.

Responsibilities include supporting global tax filing, corporate/indirect taxes, withholding tax and quarterly tax provisions, with a strong emphasis on Excel-based analysis.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of working tax experience
• Basic knowledge of corporate and indirect taxation
• ACCA qualification or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail with analytical skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Mandarin language proficiency is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Support and manage global tax compliance and filing activities
• Corporate Income Tax
• Indirect Tax such as SST, GST & VAT
• Withholding Tax
• Assist in preparation and submission of tax compliance documents
• Prepare and support quarterly tax provisions, including deferred tax calculations
• Perform tax-related analysis, documentation and reconciliation using Microsoft Excel
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and relevant teams to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance
• Assist with other tax and compliance-related projects or ad-hoc assignments
