Job summary

HHR SETIA SDN. BHD. invites applications for an Assistant Senior Site Supervisor / Site Manager to help supervise daily construction activities in Negeri Sembilan.

The role focuses on monitoring progress, ensuring work follows approved drawings and specifications, and supporting project delivery. You will check workmanship quality, coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants and subcontractors, inspect site progress, and report issues promptly to management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily construction activities
• Monitor progress and ensure activities follow project schedule
• Ensure works are carried out according to drawings, specs, and instructions
• Check quality of workmanship and materials at site
• Identify site issues and report to supervisor
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor work progress
• Check measurements and quantities of completed works
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available when required
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, Architects and subcontractors to resolve technical and site issues
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed within the timeline
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and inspection records

Job description

Assist the Senior Site Supervisor / Site Manager in supervising daily construction activities.

Monitor the progress of construction works and ensure activities are carried out according to the project schedule.

Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and instructions.

Check the quality of workmanship and materials used at the site.

Assist in identifying site issues, defects, and construction problems and report them to the superior.

Conduct regular site inspections and monitor work progress.

Assist in checking measurements and quantities of completed works.

Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are properly used and available when required.

Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Consultants, Architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical and site issues.

Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and machinery requirements at site.

Ensure materials delivered to site are in accordance with approved specifications and requirements.

Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are completed within the agreed timeline.

Identify delays, defects, discrepancies, and potential construction problems and report them to management.

Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, site photographs, inspection records, and other required documentation.
