Job summary

Gas and Aero Power Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an entry-level engineer to support gas turbine maintenance, inspections, and overhauls. You will prepare technical proposals, source global suppliers, and handle RFQs while coordinating with international teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, 0-2 years experience, and strong English communication. Mandarin is a plus; office based with growth in CAD/3D modeling capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 0-2 years of experience preferred (entry-level).
• Proficient with CAD/SolidWorks or related design tools is a plus.
• Good communication in English; Mandarin a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for gas turbine maintenance and overhauls.
• Source and evaluate global suppliers for turbine parts and services.
• Handle RFQs, quotations, and perform cost analysis for projects.
• Maintain company databases and documentation.
• Support engineering work including basic drawings and 3D modeling.
• Coordinate with power plants, OEMs, and vendors for project execution.
• Participate in tender submissions and market research (Malaysia, ASEAN).
• Contribute to marketing materials (website, brochures, presentations).

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering (e.g., Mech Engineering, Electrical, Power Engineering or related field)
• Entry-level position: 0-2 years of experience preferred
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Experienced with CAD and Solidworks preferred
• Basic knowledge of gas turbines or power plant systems preferred
• Able to handle multiple tasks and work with international teams (U.S. and China teams)
• Strong communication skills (English required; Mandarin is a plus)
