Job summary

DOMINANT PRO VENTURES SDN BHD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support pre and post contract administration, tender and cost estimation, and measurement duties. You will prepare budgets, BOQs for all disciplines, and ensure tender prices are accurate.

The role requires coordinating with consultants, construction teams and subcontractors, managing cost control, and performing on-site remeasurements and variations. Willingness to travel to sites is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Excellent time management and ability to multi-task under tight schedules.
• Must have own transportation and be willing to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Pre and post contract administration.
• Review tender/construction plans and bill of quantities; prepare quantity requirements.
• Prepare QS documents including budgets, BOQ for all disciplines and cost estimates.
• Take measurements and ensure tender prices are accurate.
• Read and understand contract conditions and tender specifications/drawings.
• Manage cost control, risk and value management where applicable.
• Coordinate with Consultants, Construction Team and Subcontractors.
• Prepare material summaries and liaise with purchasing on related matters.
• On-site remeasurement of provisional BQ and site variations.
• Evaluate project progress claims, valuations and final accounts.
• Negotiate with clients and subcontractors.
• Tender preparation and material sourcing.
