Exentec Services in Penang invites applications for a Quantity Surveyor role. Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of construction experience are welcome.

You will handle measurement, pricing, cost estimates, and subcontractor claims for projects, ensuring competitive tendering. Responsibilities include attending meetings, negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring budgets, and providing progress reports to management.

Formación

• Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Fresh graduates or up to 1 year of construction experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Measure and price projects; ensure competitive sub-contractor and supplier pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation.
• Value progress and sub-contractor claims; ensure compliance with client specs.
• Attend employer and contractor meetings to discuss progress and site issues.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project budgets, identify risks, and propose savings.
