Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QC Inspector to support production quality control activities in Bayan Lepas. You will inspect products visually and dimensionally, ensure they meet specifications, and document results to support continuous quality improvement.

The role welcomes fresh graduates and offers opportunities to grow within a manufacturing environment in Penang. Basic tool handling and MS Office skills are required, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Quality Control, or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Manufacturing or QC experience is an advantage but not required.
• Basic knowledge of measurement tools and quality inspection.
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Able to communicate and work well with the production team.
• Responsible, disciplined, willing to learn, and able to work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual, dimensional, and basic quality inspections of products.
• Check products against specifications, samples, drawings, and quality standards.
• Identify and report defects, non-conformities, and quality issues.
• Perform measurements using vernier calipers, measuring tapes, gauges, and other QC tools.
• Record inspection results, measurements, and defects accurately.
• Maintain QC inspection records, checklists, and reports.
• Assist the QC Supervisor in monitoring production quality and implementing corrective actions.
• Assist with product sampling, testing, internal audits, and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of inspection tools and equipment.
• Follow company SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Perform other QC-related duties assigned by the QC Supervisor or Management.
