Job summary

UST Malaysia is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to support engineering and semiconductor projects in Penang. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering project milestones, and help maintain documentation, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, 2–4 years of relevant experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in engineering or semiconductor projects.
• Strong command of English for internal communication and reporting.
• Experience coordinating technical/engineering tasks or working with engineering teams.
• Strong organisational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Confluence, Trello, etc.).
• Knowledge of project methodologies (Agile/Waterfall) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project management tools and ensure project data accuracy
• Drive small-scale improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimisation
