Job summary

Flintex Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an Assistant Engineer to support a steel manufacturing project. You will assist with manpower planning, file management, meeting coordination, and maintaining contact lists, while helping track progress and organize project documents.

The role involves data analysis, creating schedules, planning equipment inspection and maintenance, and assisting with procurement and budget tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in palm oil mill or heavy industry is an advantage.
• Self-motivated and result oriented with good interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently to maintain high standard and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in manpower planning, file management, meeting arrangements, and maintaining contact lists.
• Support project management, track progress, and organize project documents and reports.
• Assist in data analysis and research, providing support and recommendations for technical decision‑making.
• Prepare project schedule; equipment inspection plan and maintenance plan.
• Assist in procurement, maintenance, and management of technical equipment and tools.
• Track and manage the budget and expenses, assist in budget planning and expense reporting.
• Complete other relevant department tasks as assigned by leadership.

Education
