Job summary

SimpliSolar is seeking a motivated Pre-sales Engineer to lead the Operations & Project Delivery Department, delivering technically sound proposals for residential, commercial, and EV opportunities. You will perform site assessments, prepare sizing inputs, and coordinate with Sales, Operations, Procurement to ensure accurate, feasible proposals and smooth handover to execution.

Candidates should have an engineering degree and 1–3 years relevant experience, be detail-oriented, and ready to travel

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical, renewable energy, or mechanical engineering.
• 1–3 years in solar PV, electrical works, or renewable projects.
• Ability to read drawings and provide basic technical inputs.
• Willingness to attend site visits and coordinate with teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Sales with technical input and proposal support for Residential, C&I, and EV opportunities.
• Conduct site assessments collecting roof, electrical, load, space, access, safety, shading, and EV charging data.
• Prepare preliminary technical inputs, BOQ notes, and layout information for review.
• Ensure proposal inputs are accurate and aligned with customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales to close information gaps and submit proposals on time.
• Identify risks and gaps to improve proposal quality before finalization.
• Escalate complex matters to Senior Pre-Sales Engineer for review.
• Support positioning of Solar PV, BESS, EV charging, EMS, and related offerings.
• Maintain records of site assessments, assumptions, and handover information.
• Assist proposal-to-execution handover with clarified scope and material inputs.
