Job summary

Kaley Sdn Bhd in Bandar Puteri Puchong is seeking a Junior Interior Designer to translate concepts into beautiful spaces across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience, with strong drawing and presentation skills, and a collaborative mindset.

You will work with senior designers, attend site visits, develop 2D drawings and 3D visuals, coordinate with contractors and suppliers, and contribute from concept through site implementation while

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or related discipline.
• 1–2 years of interior design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator).
• Understand interior materials, detailing, and basic construction methods.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to attend site visits and travel as required.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant interior design projects.

Responsibilities

• Design & documentation: develop concepts, mood boards, layouts, and space planning.
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D visuals, elevations, and construction drawings.
• Assist in presentations, material boards, and design proposals.
• Develop millwork drawings and interior detailing where required.
• Research and source materials, finishes, FF&E, and coordinate selections.
• Coordinate with suppliers and follow up on samples, quotes, and specs.
• Site & project coordination: attend site visits, measurements, and meetings.
• Review shop drawings and provide design clarification during execution.
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking.
