Job summary

SVS Renoz My Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced Interior Designer to create compelling concepts for residential and commercial projects.

You will translate client briefs into detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D models using AutoCAD and SketchUp, while coordinating with suppliers and project teams to ensure timely delivery. The role requires strong visualization skills, knowledge of color theory and space planning, and the ability to source materials within budget.

Qualifications

Develop and present creative interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
Proficient use of AutoCAD and SketchUp to produce drawings, floor plans, elevations and 3D models.
Create 3D renderings and visualizations to communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders.
Apply color theory, materials and space planning to optimize spaces.
Collaborate with managers, contractors and suppliers to execute projects on time and budget.
Conduct site visits and measurements to gather accurate information.

Responsibilities

Apply principles of color theory, material selection, and space planning to optimize functionality and aesthetics of interior spaces.

Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution from concept to completion.

Conduct site visits and measure existing spaces to gather accurate project information and identify potential design challenges.

Source and specify furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes, ensuring they meet project budget, timeline, and quality standards.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, new materials, and innovative design solutions.

Prepare design proposals, specifications, and cost estimates for client presentations.

Communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin with clients, team members, and vendors.
